i started smokin when i was 14, but only cuz i needed sumtin to do after secks.

fast forward 20 years, mornings were horrific. i'd be coughing, hacking, aching, moaning, bemoaning, heaving, creaking, sound a lamb makes dropped onto a trampoline: 'bazing'-ing, reeking, dying, lying, not really surviving, red-eye-ing, sneezing, wheezing, barely breathing, creeping , peeping, rowlfing, delousing, Jadaveon Clowning, .....i seem to have gone off track here....

point being, i needed to get healthier. and working out or giving up bacon was simply not on option. so; enter ECigs and Vaping. now it's just the never-ending torment of my past decisions taunting me from my black, oily psych that negatively dominates my subconscious inner struggle with reality....and some of my nose hair is getting kinda grey.

I wanted to be healthier. As most smokers you begin hating your addiction!! The way you, your house & car smell, the burn marks on everything, the social stigma of being a smoker, feeling a slave to a cigarette because you leave family & friends to go have your next cigarette, the coughing ugh!!

Vaping has some awesome side effects. My sense of taste & smell came back so quickly unlike when "quitting smoking" using the patch etc. Needing and craving water! I naturally needed to lower my nicotine level. I no longer feel the need to kill people if I can't vape right NOW, unlike when I smoked. Cigarettes ruled me now I rule my vaping.:)

I used to smoke from when I was 16 till I turned 28. I quit the day my son was born.
3 years later, still smoke free. But my wife and I started watching movies on the weekends and drinking.... heavily. And out of her drunken mouth comes "i wish you didnt quit smoking so I could have a cigarette" (she only smoked when shes out drinking at bars)

So one day I was in a local gas station on a friday, pondering the purchase of a pack of smokes for our movie night. And I saw one of the disposable cigalikes. Decided to pick it up as it should be a better choice than stinkies. I was also going through a very stressful time, and did crave the nicotine feeling and the actual oral satisfaction (pipe down perverts).
So started from there, but was still craving more than was supplied from the disposables. I researched other options, and came across the Halo G6 kit and gave it a shot. And I guess it turned into more of a hobby than a smoking substitute, because soon I started moving up from cigalikes and cartomizers to variable volt/variable watt batteries and rebuildables. Even though I am still fairly new to a lot of whats out there, I feel like I have progressed hugely in my knowledge in the past several months.

I enjoy rebuilding my coils, I enjoy the wide range of flavors, I enjoy the huge assortment of technology.

started smoking when i was 7... after multiple death in the family due to lung related issues(half were smoking related, go figure) i decided it was time to quit.

the real attention grabber for me, was the price point. - im spending 200$ a year on ecig supplies, or 3k$ a year on cigarettes. that aspect speaks for itself.

the fact i can wake up (21 years old currently) and not hack a lung and feel like a peice of poop, is a miracle.

ecigs have saved my lungs and my wallet.

further into ecigs, it gave me hobby as i now rebuild coils and make my own juice.

Much like my Princess Evie, I too, despised being a "slave to my addiction" and feeling like a "leper" when I HAD to go feed my addiction. Several years ago, I got duped into one of those "Free E-Cig deals" that came with automatically charged and shipped refills for a cheap cigalike that you'd turn blue in the face trying to get a (nasty tasting) hit off of! By the time I got them to cancel my shipments, I'd been charged a ton and hated the crappy device. It was years before I even contemplated vaping again.

I work in healthcare and must appear (and smell) "the part". I was getting up and chain smoking a few cigs, then showering and not having another until after 5 when I finished work. Then I'd chain smoke all the way home and have to frequently go to the garage and either freeze or sweat and get eaten by mosquitos so as to not expose my boys to the smoke. I saw a friend vaping and asked about it. It seemed like a great SUPPLEMENT to my smoking while at work. After my research (I do a lot before committing), I realized that the Halo Triton was the way to go. I got it and a sampler...again....TO SUPPLEMENT my smoking while at work.....never had any intention of quitting my cigs.

Within a week of the mighty Tribeca making my eyes roll back in my head (and the help, laughs, support and love of the Halons!), I COULDN'T STAND another cig!!! I QUIT ON ACCIDENT!!!:facepalm::banana::headbang:

Oh, yeah....I quit getting on Facebook too since that's what I did in the garage while smoking!!! Now I sit INSIDE on ECF and vape my head off (carefully directing my vapor away from my boys and down rather than filling the room with it. ;)

I've advanced through cartos, about every clearo and glasso imaginable and on to MECHs, RDAs and RBAs....still never leave the house without my trusty Triton filled with Tribeca....EVER!!! ;) :D

In a rough attempt to quit smoking, a few days had passed, and I was crawling out of my skin with cravings. I was about to buy another pack of camels when a light went off... Why not try an electronic instead? While the blu pack I bought didn't ultimately work out, it did lead me down this new path, which I've only stumbled from once. Halo and the g6, and later the Triton, showed me that there is gear out there that WILL work... While I don't use the gear anymore, halo's juices are a key ingredient to my staying off the analogs.

I started with Blu way back when and it didn't work out. Eventually, mainly due to the financial benefits, I started looking for an e-cig starter kit (about 300 days ago). I stalked the ECF forums until I ultimately watched a video review on the Halo Triton. Totally worth the investment -- I even bought the G6 just to see how it was (better than Blu, but the Triton trumps it). I solely use my Triton at work, but the only liquids I vape are Halo.

Smoking is a horrible addiction that runs deep in my family. I've watched too many relatives die of lung cancer and my dad currently has emphysema. Even after all this, I continued to smoke and noticed my lung capacity starting to diminish and started to get bronchitis twice a year-NOT good.

I tried so many times to quit with every possible product I could get my hands on including but not limited to cold turkey, prescription meds and gas station style ecigs (which were not good and I used them maybe four days). My longest quit was just about 4 months. Nothing was working after 10 years, off and on, trying.

I knew I had to break this disgusting cycle that has plagued not only my family but myself so I did some research and I found Halo. The rest is history.
