Why does an 18650 hit poorer than an 18350

I used a kick in my GG for about a day. Just doesn't cut it. GG with an 18650=beast.

And how do you vape at +10watts without a kick in a mechanical mod? Im missing something

you have to vape at really low ohms. I vape a twist coil at .8 ohms. If you have a fresh 4.2 volt battery powering a .8 ohm coil it's 22 watts.

What billy said. Just wrap your coil less than 1.5 if you are looking at high watts. Kick will stop you at 10 watts so it kinda strangles the performance IMO.

Actually your not vaping at 22 watts , you'll be lucky if your getting 17 . your not taking voltage drop into account which is instantaneously happening on your first fire , remember your using a battery and not a power supply , then there is resistance of mod and don't forget that batteries drop fast at that output meaning you could be at 10 watts within 60 mins .

You need to take voltage drop into account , a 1.5 ohm coil on a fresh battery will give around 9-11 watts which is great but without regulation it doesn't last very long . If you own a oddy or a pen a vv and a mechanical mod you can try a experiment and see for yourself .

What's the best place to buy MNKE IMR 18650 batteries? I'm going to be building sub-ohm to 1ohm builds (thank you, Ithaka!) and I think these are the best for that, yes?
I'm looking at Avid Vapor, mostly because if I buy the batteries there I can also grab some ribbon kanthal

If I'm running Ithaka using dual coil premade wires that are at 1.5 ohms then I'm actually getting .75 ohms yes?
Is it ok to use my 18650's with this set up? My 18350 don't give me as much throat hit or vapor. Maybe I should just buy new bats as these are 2 years old. I rotate 4 18650's.

Yes
If two 1.5 ohm coils are connected in parallel then the total resistance will be .75 ohm
The formula is called "Product over Sum"
(1.5 X 1.5) divided by (1.5 + 1.5) = .75
