i have heard that nickel wire are suppose to remain super clean even after a week but just after a day mine has turn black in the middle. I am currently using a ipv4s, Mad Hatter vaping at 0.12ohms
What temp setting are you vaping at and is the juice a very sweet or dark colored juice? I set my temps anywhere from 450 to 500 degrees and I notice that when the juices I'm vaping tends to be on the sweeter side, the black caramelization will build up on the coil oretty quickly. It doesn't seem to affect the vape much and the coil will easily last me a week or more before the vape starts to degrade because the coil is too gunked up.i have heard that nickel wire are suppose to remain super clean even after a week but just after a day mine has turn black in the middle. i am vaping at 420F at 40J. i was more concern about the health issues, yea i am vaping alot of sweet juices. What temp setting are you vaping at and is the juice a very sweet or dark colored juice? .12 ohms....the extreme heat
There really isn't anything to worry about. When the coil gets gunked up like that the caramelized juice will essentially act as an insulator so once it gets really bad, you will notice that the taste becomes off or the coil won't generate as much vapor as it did before. That is a sign that you need to rebuild the coil.i am vaping at 420F at 40J. i was more concern about the health issues, yea i am vaping alot of sweet juices.
thanks man!!!! but even if i smoke those black particles it would not be a problem as well??There really isn't anything to worry about. hahahah no worries bro i believe we all will understand! anyway thanks for the tip!!By the way folks, that was sort of a joke, just forgot to attach an emoticon. It would more than likely be the juice the OP is using..... But, on the other hand high heat certainly wouldn't help. All metals will discolor with enough heat applied. But, in the case of nickel, it's likely the juice, especially after only a day.
So OP excuse my kidding around.

If you mean dry burn, don't do that with nickel.thanks man!!!! but even if i smoke those black particles it would not be a problem as well??
but i have been seeing the black particles on the wick like just after a day of vaping? and its at 40 J 0.11ohm and 380f of TC is that considered alotIf you mean dry burn, don't do that with nickel.
If you are worried about that gunk coming off the coil and being inhaled, don't worry. That gunk will not come off without a lot of heat. A lot![]()
That's what it does with sweet eliquids. You'd have to suck like a shop vac to get those sticky bits off the coil and wick.but i have been seeing the black particles on the wick like just after a day of vaping? and its at 40 J 0.11ohm and 380f of TC is that considered alot
