Why does USB work so much better than batteries???

I am just wondering why the USB passthrough works so much better than my batteries???? I feel like I have to puff and puff and puff to get the same kind of TH as on the USB...............

Any thoughts or tips on how to use batteries more efficiently? I have hardly been using them - love the USB!!!

The USB pass-through provides continuous power. The batteries are providing power but in doing so they are discharging the stored energy. The USB generally provides highter voltage too. This is the primary reason people go to big battery mods. They hold more stored energy than the stock batteries and depending on the mod and batteries used, will vape at higher voltages.

I don't have a passthough but I might be able to help on the battery thing if I knew which model you're using.

I have been thinking about a passthrough so thanks for the question the answers should be interesting.

My understanding (from Scottbee's investigation on the 510) is that you are getting more voltage from a USB passthrough. I think the 510 on battery was putting about 3.1 or 3.2v to the atomizer and the passthru somewhere around 3.4? Something like that.

I have the V4L kit. I don't know which model - whatever the one is with all the chargers, USB passthrough (obviously) car charger, etc. I don't see where it says what model it is. Anyway, it would be nice to get more hit from the batteries - especially if i am not attached to my computer!!! LOL!!! Maybe V4L has something??? Any suggestions?

I have the manual xtra long batteries from V4L and i noticed a huge difference with the manual button. I'm able to prime it before I take a drag and generally get better vapor production and throat hit.

You have a Kr808 model and to get more hit you can research here for higher voltage mods. so when you are searching the forum here and you see something like cartomizer or kr8 they are talking about the model type you have. If people don't answer all of the questions That I might have caused you to have, I will follow up later the next time I am free.

So would you say there is definitely a difference between the regular batteries and the one you just described? Is it pretty close to the USB as far as vapor and throat hit?
