About 20 yrs ago I worked at a paper mill that made "fine paper" for cigarettes and bibles...lol! Every bit of cigarette paper we shipped out was to 3rd world countries! Not 1 roll stayed in the US.....because the cigarette market here is not near as profitable as those countries....kinda sad really. Those proverty stricken places have no idea how bad cigs are for them...at least not from their govts....

Good read!

Thanks for the info! I know not stinking around the kids was the first thing on my mind that has helped me stay away from analogs.. the health benefits are astounding.
You know what's strange? I always loved the smell of tobacco smoke because it reminds me of my dad (cigarettes) and grandfather (pipe). I just didn't like when I smelled of it. But kids today are taught (for good reason) that that's not a good smell.

My how times change.

I was surprised by the first sentence.

"ACCORDING TO THE WORLD Health Organization, there were approximately 1.3 billion smokers worldwide in 2003, and that number is expected to increase to 1.7 billion by 2020."

I would have expected it to be going down. Guess I'm not the Only Stubborn one!
That's worldwide. While smoking has rapidly decreased in America, it is increasing in most other regions of the world. China's smoking population is increasing faster than ours is decreasing.

Yeh - unbelievable. Hopefully not if the vaping has anything to do with it, fingers crossed. Lets just hope that vaping remains far cheaper than smoking so that it has an added incentive - when I smoked tobbacco the health benefits of giving up was just not enough - I don't know why, but it just wasn't.
I also read somewhere that governments will not give vaping the green light because it would put tobbacco industries out of business and there would be so many job losses. It's worrying that the economy is more important than health to them.
We don't want the tobacco industry to die though. That's still where we get the nicotine for our vapes.

Actually we can, plenty of venders sell it. There was a ban temporarily I think, so we keep the list to a PM. Just post on the sticky in Canada Forum and someone will PM you the list :)
And THAT's why this board is awesome. Keepin' it underground.

Great link accordioni! Here it is again: Pharmacological and Chemical Effects of Cigarette Additives

Any regulatory bodies (ie tobacco industry lackeys) here in UK or EU and US want to get there fingers in the e-cig pie and tax or regulate it out of existance should be given detention and forced to write out that report word for word 3 times!
