yes it did kinda lose the "plot" as it went along..

did u see christopher lambert as tarzan.. one of the things i read as kid was tarzan.. i took it all in and thought it was real.. until i found out the auther wrote early science fiction and had simply moved venus to the african jungle and made it all up...

I haven't seen this one, but I will. I do have a sick interest in Christopher Lambert films, and I do enjoy the odd Tarzan.

I do think it is overpriced and i bet your not tom or harry :p

he he he...

the poor old screwdriver has a lot to cope with.. the might of the chinese empire.. ted26 who really thinks its worth bugger all and is just an overpriced rip-off..

plus all those tom d-ck and harry guys up to their dirty tricks

"there can only be the one"... anybody remember that highlander series..

will the "screwdriver" become legend or just disappear up its own ....... like most things do... only the future will tell.. he he

i find it hard to put a "real" value on anything any more ted.. i do find it totally amazing just how cheap the chinese can make things..

most thing are made in huge numbers "economy of scale" is the term used i think...

throw in the magic copy anything for five dollars chinese factor and stuff is leaving the chines factories for pence.. we dont often pay pence but how much do u think say janty product costs to make..

take a rolex watch.. a real one for 3000 dollars or a good chinese copy for 200 dollars..

people are wrong to think the chinese copy is junk.. in reality a good copy is indistinguishable from the original..

okay the rolex is way over priced which makes it easy for a good copy to be produced at a fraction of the cost..

i have a real none fake chinese auto winding watch.. the workmanship looks superb.. lots of cogs and old fashioned bits in it.. it cost be twenty dollars.. it dosnt pretend to be anything other than what it is.. i have a similar auto winding watch with the name rotary on it.. it retailed at argos for 160 dollars.. i can buy a fake chinese made designer label watch for 200 dollars.. or the real designer labeled watch for 2500 dollars..

the bottom line being what is the real value of a watch.. what people are prepared to pay for it.. it seems.. the watch i have on my wrist at the moment is a retro styled leather strapped watch.. chinese made..

it dosnt pretend to be anything.. it looks expensive and tastfull.. it keeps perfect time.. it cost me six dollars including shipping from china..

my son keeps telling me we need to get on an airplane.. visit the chinese factories.. get a chines made screwdriver model T made for 5 dollars in the thousands and we could get rich.. he is probably right..

an economy e smoking device that works is all thats needed.. the original screwdriver is a niche market expensive product hand produced in england.. for what it is its not over priced..

compared to a chinese produced product it is.. but the chinese as yet dont make one.. i doubt they ever will..
