Why is my atty getting so hot??

I'm using mini did on provari.

1.6 ohm 3.8v

after 2 hits it gets extremely hot!! the coils get so hot that my top cap gets hot too!

Burnt(not actually burnt but hurt) myself few times just by touching the top cap...

is this normal?

is there way to fix this?

My longer pro tank and ViVi Nova gets hot too, but not after 2 vaped. Maybe rebuild the coil, and put in a little bit of insulation?
