I'm pretty sure the goal of this forum is to be progressive and AGAINST misinformation etc etc...
If we want to ensure that people that DON'T vape don't confuse vaping with smoking...
If we want to ENSURE that people don't think our vaporizers DON'T contain smoke...
Then why would we keep this section named E-SMOKING instead of E-vaping?

Then lets educate them, there is a very extensive definition glossary here on ECF. Besides individuating ourselves from typical " Tobbaco Smokers" is the goal I thought . Words hold power, this is one thing I've come to learn in life.

yeah I really don't think we NEED to keep the section "General E-SMOKING discussion" just because noobs don't know the term vaping yet, lol... The section isn't even for noobs... The NEW MEMBER SECTION is for noobs. Thats why new members can't post anywhere but the NEW MEMBERS SECTION until they have a minimum of 10-15 posts or whatever. y'know?

We shouldn't change the name of the forum to "electronic tobacco smoking cigarette forum" for the noobs either.
I mean, I just noticed this and I think it'd be cool if we changed it because e-cig-forum truly likes to stay politically correct when it comes to e-cigarettes. they DON'T like other websites/forums that spread misinformation. So I think it'd be a good change.

HOWEVER, I'm not positive, but I feel like I've read an explanation for the name of that forum already, in the past... true, or false? I'd really like to know why we're keeping it the name it is... At least for now. PS.. my nose is CLOGGED!

A person only has to post in the new member's forum a few times. Yeah it would be nice to have a little more distance from smoking cigarettes. Keeping a few things familiar may keep people from feeling even more confused though.

yeah Idk, I just saw it and thought it was odd. A lot of good points here though. Noobs should have some things that feel familiar and dafe to them. I don't think this is a good think to keeo safem but i don't think its up to me anyway.

Its ultimately up to contributers, moderators, and then jober/owners of the forum. For all we know, they may want that title there so that smokers using google will still be directed to e-cigarettle forum with the keyword SMOKE or whatever, yknow? haha. But, I think creating a simple keyword page could solve that! lol. So, its up to the mods/owners/donators. Kiwi had a good name though.

i have NO IDEA whats going on. I woke up feeling fantastic. I woke up feeling GREAT.
I went over to my friends house to say hello to a group of my old friends, fantastic.
I must have caught a BAD case of the runny nose from one of them.

I allowed two of them to try my provari. One of them absolutely LOVED it.
3 of them all wrote it off as stupid.
The kid that didn't even try it, but didn't like it, acted like he knew EVERYTHING about e-cigarettes.
He acted like he "obviously" knew much more than I did. + much more than the rest of the room.
He started right off the bat "I couldn't use that instead of smoking, heck no"
He started out by saying "see, I love smoking. lots of things kill ya, yknow?"

I said "yeah. 1 out of every 2 smokers dies of cancer... no one has died from e-cigs"

He flickered his eyelids like a pretty woman and reitterated, "lots of things kill you. 1 out of 10 people that walk out of the house dies of getting hit by a car, yknow? Cigarette smoking kills you much slower than drowning, or getting hit by a car, yknow.. and those e-cigs probably kill you a little slower than real cigarettes, but I'd rather be happy smoking than depressed with e-cigs"

But the worst part is what he said next....

He goes "I've tried a few of them. The ones I tried were more expensive than that one, and they actually LOOKED like a cigarette. The technology is really advancing. They are making them smaller and smaller" But, that one you have there is pretty old. I don't even wanna try it. The ones I tried just weren't even close to smoking. I love smoking. I'll never quit.

I wish I had a banana pie and a seltzer sprayer for his face.

Then to top off the night, another chimed in saying that "Instead of giving you cancer, they grow mold in your lungs" right before a big argument erupted about cancer. SO, I just butted out because my head was bout to explode. :I People love to SOUND smart.... They just don't like putting in the work. lol.
