I guess the obvious one would be because they are gonna tax our snus. I am sure there are several others.
How about the fact that WE put them there to work for US and all they are concerned about is popular majority.I still find it hard to believe that PACT was passed by a unanimous decission.I keep thinking it has to be the tax dollars at the heart of this!

I absolutely agree with you Wiz. It seems like it is always about the tax dollars.
I just read a few tasty tidbits over at snuffhouse.org on the pact being unmanned to such an extent we will not have to worry. HAHA!

I think so too Dred...the way our Government drags their feet with just about everything...it may be months before this bill hits the house floor.By then Obama may be using snus and snuff and might refuse to sign said bill!! Looks like the only worries will be higher prices and who will be delivering(UPS,Fed-Ex ect.)

Lots of dollars involved but lacking in actual reform in my opinion!! The bill is supposed to be available to read online for 72 hours once voted on.....Get your reading glasses out!!

Because they are nothing but thieves with badges! So I was at snuffhouse today and guess what PACT was passed by the House today it is headed to the Pres now. I dont know but the bit about it being a toothless bill may be wishful thinking, I heard that fedx and dhl both agree not to ship tob prod if PACT passes. If no one delervers the bill seems like it would be pretty effective, also we dont know if the suppliers will actuallt collect the taxes for 50 different states or just decide not to service us so I not sure Id be celabrating just yet what do you guys think?http://politics.nytimes.com/congress/votes/111/house/2/124

I'm actually pretty sure that we are not living in a democracy anymore...how did that happen? I mean, yes, we get to vote, but our options seem to always be 'which of the two evils shall I vote for today?'

Quite a chore to try discussing politics and politicians without swearing. Just doesn't seem do-able
.Looking at the bright side, after last nights vote on healthcare reform I have 219 names of greed stricken pukes to add to my plague wish-list. Now Osama can clear his mind before signing the PactAct for us. What a wonderful democracy we live in
