I understand about the airflow. But is it to do with the amount of time drawing as well. Would a sub ohm get too hot ?

I draw 5 seconds on a mini nautilus (Mtl) and the same 5 seconds on a cleito (dl)
I was told mtl on a cleito would make it leak. So whether the vape is going in your mouth or straight to lung how would it effect the coil? Don't understand anyone help

I think you're right on point. Sub ohm coils get real hot real quick. the airflow around them keeps them from getting too hot. In your example, a mouth holds less air than lungs. with less air cooling the coils in a mtl hit, the coil can get hotter. with a DL hit, lots of airflow cools the coil to prevent it from overheating. Subohm coils get hotter because they were designed to vaporize more liquid at once to fill the lungs, and mtls dont need to vaporize as much liquid to fill the mouth with vapor. hope this helps some.
