I have two iTaste MVP 2, bought them about 2 months ago. Currently I am using Aspire nautilus running @11 watts. I swapped out the MVP and using my ipv 2.0 running the same power @ 11 watts.

The flavor and vapor production I got out from ipv was so much more. I can also tell by the popping sound when I hit a fire button, so much different between the two brands.

Why is that? To me wattage is wattage. Both of my MPV 2 @ 11 watts does not produced as much as IPV on the same same wattage. I am lost :(

Because 11watts is the max output of an mvp, where as 11watts is barely any stress on the IPV.

It really also depends on how the chip regulates voltage it is up or downstepping, ( I wont bore you with the technical of this )

It also the resistance of the coil.

Remember, just because you set a device for a certain wattage doesnt mean it will actually achieve that wattage if the other part of the ohms law triangle cant be met.

Went through this when I bought the istick last week. Since I vape at 10W on my MVP 2, I did the same with the istick. Right off the bat I got my first dry hit. Got a few more the first evening and went back to the local vape shop to pick up some juice the next day. Guy said to drop the wattage down to 7.5 and it was amazing. The 1.8u dual coil starts popping instantly on the instantly stick at 7.5W whereas at 10W on the MVP 2 it takes a second to pop.. It's like the istick compensates for resistance. Anyhow, lesson learned is that you need to do trial and error on different devices and go with the setting you like best

Coil, wick, airflow, liquid and yes, wattage.

But the oomph you pack onto the coil is only one part of the whole shebang.

If it were all the same, there wouldn't be any need for diversity.

You can get an engine with 500 hp. But it does make one heck of a difference whether these 500 hp are chugging away in your run of the mill truck or if they whizz by in some sleek - and hideously expensive - sports car :)

Same with mods. Buy a Provari AND and a Reo, and both camps will have your hide for heresy ;)
