I joined this forum before the new member policy was created. I think this is my 3rd post.

I have spent hours reading, and have used a pv for over 9 months, but here I am stuck locked into a room full of noob :)

They could give musicians a special credit if they have a lot of posts on the Sonar Forum, or KVR,, lol

Hey bud,,, good to see you!!!

Despite the slight post-count hoops, I think you'll find this a remarkably hospitable forum. I appreciated the welcoming responses I got from my initial posting (which was pretty much a carbon copy of everyone else's initial posting). And pretty much everybody here is wonderfully laid back (not much of that "Can't you read? We covered this last May!" stuff). Of course, as smokers/ex-smokers, we're all at least a bit more humane than the rest of the world. :)

I am a member of some forums related to a few of my other interest and they don't require a minimum post # to post anywhere on the site.

However, on a daily basis I usually have to skip over 15 - 20 spam posts related to cell phones, shoes, pocket books, and some xxx stuff which gets very annoying.

None of that here, thank you very much...

I wasn't fond of the restrictions either, particularly since most "newbies" aren't exactly "new" to much of anything outside that particular venue. There's PhD's, among other 3 letter acronyms here, and everything from pimple faced teens to gray haired owls. Then I realized.....wow......no flea market crap on every other page. Maybe, just maybe this whole minimum and proving ground has some merit. Restrictions suck, but never anywhere near as much as spam, trolls, insurance salesmen or marketing. Besides, if the information is good, who cares? So restrict on!!! :2cool:
