Why wont my JAZZ Cartopipe produce any smoke?

Hey guys,

So, i am brand new to the whole vaping scene. I have been smoking cigarettes and pipes for a while, but then for christmas i got the JAZZ Cartopipe from a buddy.
I started using it, and its really great! I love the feel of the pipe, and all the crazy juices you can put in there is just fantastic.
But now all of a sudden, it wont produce any smoke. I am completely new to the scene, so i have no clue as to what the problem can be, if i just have to change the cartomizer or if its broken... Can you even change a cartomizer?... Yeah, i dont know what on earth i am talking about

I have tried changing the battery, which did nothing. I have cleaned out the pipe, but that did nothing. I do have a bunch of cartomizers, both dual coils (510 DCT-2) and single coils (CE2 DCT-2)... dont ask me why, i got them with the pipe. I also have the Ressurector tank (http://.............../store/JazzCartoPipes/Jazz-Ressurrector-Tank-Kit/prod_569.html), but i cant figure out how i change the cartomizer on there.
Any of you guys have any experience with this? I just really hope i didnt break it. I have been really careful with it.

Thanks Heavyrocker, that video was very informative. I see that the man in the video had his extension between the pipe and the mouthpiece loose, but mine is stuck to the tank. Haha, i am so horrible at this! I am googleing my ... off to find more info.
My pipe still wont produce any vapor / smoke though =(

Does it have a burnt taste to it? If so, your carto is dry.
Also, make sure your carto is screwed in ALL the way, not too tight, but make sure it's good and snug. If it is, take it off and try cleaning the connection that it screws into.

The carto (Cartomizer) is that metal piece that screws into the mouthpiece end, it pretty much just holds e-juice in a filament that soaks a heating coil to produce vapor. When that filament starts to dry out, you start to get no vapor/flavor, and that soon turns into a burnt, nasty taste. When you start to get this burnt flavor, your carto is pretty much ruined and should be thrown away.

Do you have a bottle of juice you can re-fill your cartos with?

edit- I just watched another review of the jazz pipe...make sure yo AREN'T covering the little hole on the underside of the pipe. That is an airflow hole, and if your thumb is covering it, you will not get any vape action at all.
