Lots of misinformed people around. A tobacco shop trying to maintain their good customers. They don't want to lose the steak off their table and have to eat hotdogs.

It is a shame because if they embraced the change and started catering more towards vaping they could make a killing.

The sad part is when you live in a small town of 5,000 they ain't to worried about loosing business because their the only shop in town that sells vape stuff I usually drive the 30 minutes to an actual vapor shop and still not much to choose from that's why I'm going DIY

    At the closest smoke shop to me, where all kinds of tobacco cigs as well as tubes and other RYO stuff is sold, there is also a huge selection of PV hardware and accessories. Juices too. Even trays of different flavors that one can try. The lady that owns that place was more than happy to 'e-cig educate' me, even though she would possibly be losing a tobacco customer. Tobacco money or E-cig money is the same color green to her.. ;)

    It was a lady at my local tobacco shop who first convinced me to give vaping another try. It's a Tobacco Road Outlet, which sells cigarettes, cigars and tobacco as well as a small assortment of their house brand crappy e-cigs and liquid. Of course, I'm pretty sure she thought I might buy a starter kit there…and I ended up going to a real vape shop for my stuff as well as my juice. She was surprised the other day when I went to buy my old man his Christmas cigars and told her "I don't smoke anymore" when she put my American Spirits on the counter as usual.

    I guess they figure, they make money off you either way if they're the only game in town...

    Hi! (Waves from Springfield) Been to Houston and floated the Big Piney many times.. Your town maybe small, but it is located in a beautiful area.
    Went DIY almost right after I started and you will enjoy it. Good luck!

    Yes it is very beautiful only reason I'm still here and thanks

    I haven't toured that many of them or anything, but for sure there are two smoke shops by me who are dipping their toes into the waters of the vaping world. They stock e-juice and starter kits at least. Their prices for equipment is crazy (like $25 for a 650 mAh blister pack...no e-liquid included). But for juice their prices aren't horrible. My BF picked up some Criss-Cross brand e-liquid from one of them. 10 ml for $3.99. I didn't try it though, because he likes the high nicotine levels (he got 24 mg, more than double what I use). But it is cool to know that you can pick it up in more places.

    Gas stations by us are also jumping on the bandwagon. I picked up a 2 pack of Zig-Zag brand clearomizers for $9.99 (another rip off...but we were in a pinch).

    When I lived in Misery (Springfield) there were two vape shops in the whole town. Actually only one was a full vape shop. Prices were high, decent folks though. When moving back to Alabama I was dreading it, thinking back to the sticks online would be my only recourse. Surprisingly every gas station in the area carries at least a line of juice. I can get a Protank v2 for $14 at a gas station. More vape shops than I care to visit and vape lounges. Wow

    The media has been incredibly effective this year at creating a huge amount of contamination by Third-Hand Stupid. :facepalm:

    I tried to 'like' this more than once, but alas!
    Imagine if the Pharmafia were to develop a little 'pill' to somehow address the rampant spread of THS (third hand stupid). This could be a huge windfall for them.
    Oh, wait. They already have that little 'pill'. It has dollar signs on it and is given in copious dosages to government agencies and lawmakers who have become completely addicted to it, thereby ensuring the continued spread of THS among the masses.

    Wait, so... Why exactly shouldn't I work there, again? I didn't really see any mention of that... Also, you seem to have lost all your punctuation... So, until you find it again, you can borrow some of mine... As you can see, I've got enough to go around:
    ....,,,,????!!!!''''::::;;;;

    Because if your that oblivious to to know that a product you sell is a hell of a lot better than a cancer causing product then you need to get into a new line of work its like working in a burger joint and telling people not to eat burgers cause their bad for you as for my punctuation I'm just to lazy to keep switching key pads on my phone I didn't realize we had critics here that worried about it but its good to see we have educated people here
