My wife is undergoing chemo-therapy for lung cancer.
She was diagnosed in July of 2009.
The mother of my children is going to die. I haven't told the kids yet.
We both were 30+ year smokers.
We have four kids, two of them are hers, and two are mine.
If I continue to smoke, I will die.
When that happens, my children will have no parents.
Yet they are trying to ban the one thing that can save my life. E-cigarettes.
Why won't they think of the children?

Sorry to hear about the pain your family and yourself are enduring. Especially your wife. It is sad they allow the tobacco giants to have free run and put billions in thier pockets but yet they want to stop the e-cigs, which basically they have not done enough research themselves to understand them. It goes way beyond ecigs also. They are starting to treat people like kids and want to tell them whats good and bad for them. There are literally thousands of products at Walmart alone more deadly and toxic to people than ecigs. When is enough enough? You have my best wishes. Try and stay as positive as you can for your wife and kids. Not easy but they need you.

Bobnoxious: Your story would make a powerful addition to the collection of Great Testimonials that Smokeyjoe is putting together. Can you add a few details? Have you tried using electronic cigarettes yet, or are you reluctant to get started, seeing that big government might eliminate this option?
