Wick Changing Frequency....

Since I have recently started dripping I notice I want to change my wick a lot more often. It seems to get a little nasty and effects the flavor within 3-5 days of use.

Does anyone else tend to change your wicks fairly often?

Probably more often than many

Depends a lot on the flavor, vaping style and some other variables.

I'll rewick my Kayfuns whenever I change flavors. When staying with the same flavor, some benefit from a fresh wick after just a couple tanks, some go longer.

But any time the flavor starts to go south, I'll change it.

I'm vaping pretty low ohm and my juice is drastically effected by steeping so that's a lot of it I am sure.

I only drip, dont even own a non rda topper. I keep about five drippers in my rotation and I usually re wick something once a day.

I change the wick in my RDA every 3 -4 days.

I change the wick in my Kayfun RTA about once every 1 - 2 weeks.

What material you use may affect the longevity of your wicks. Rayon seems to last the longest. KoGenDo Japanese cotton and Cotton Bacon less so. Ordinary organic cotton seems to last even less long.

Every 3 days for my drippers here. As far as my rta's I usually gauge it by numbers of refills and the color and taste of the juice but its typically around every 4th or 5th refill. But overall though it's about taste. If flavor drops I usually change my wicks and service my coils.

I change mine every 1-2 days. I like that first-day freshness. Also, the wick is still fairly clean...it's really about the coil, I like to dry burn it clean every day or so.
