Can I bump my posts??

Yes you can when needed, but the unwritten rule here is no more than twice per 24 hour period.

You didn't say what you are rebuilding and that can cause problems when there is too little wick for some devices. But in the general sense your observation is correct. Cotton expands once it's wet and adding too much cotton can cause it to compress in the coil when it expands, choking off it's ability to actually get liquid in there.

I'm rebuilding coils for T3S and evod. There are flooding issues with tiny wicks, know any workaround?

Should also add the only thing I've done to fix it is add a flavor wick because I'm too lazy to redo the main wick and it plugs the open space

That isn't gonna work for a BCC. The only thing that prevents the liquid in the tank from dumping out is the partial vacuum maintained by the wick. A top wick alone won't do that - you left a big hole through the center of the coil that liquid can just pour out of. Yeah, too much wick in the center of a coil can cause a lack of wicking problem & burnt cotton. But no wick at all combined with only a relatively small amount of top wick in a Kanger = flooding.

Back to the tinker table...

Also, see this post for complete beginning to end instructions for a cotton rebuild that didn't leave anything to assumption: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/396220-kanger-protank-rebuild-33.html#post9844874
