Ok I had an extremely bad day with everything. I have several new flavors coming in tomorrow. I have been working on finding some recipes and think I have some new ideas. So im kinda anxious for my supplies to get here. So first off knowing I will have new stuff I went locally and bought some supplies. To save money on shipping as the things I needed online would have come from several different places. Shipping would have been more than local. So I bought a couple new tanks. T3s tanks which i like. Also bought some flavor wicking material so I can rewick some of my coils I have. First thing was the wick was wrong. I guess I wasnt paying attention and received braided silica wick. Which I believe is not flavor wick (correct me here please). So I tore it apart and used it for rewicking the old coils. Looked to me like it would work just fine. So then this morning I filled up the 3ml new t3s tank and off i went. First thing I notice is a wet spot in my pocket. Pull it out and yes 3ml of juice in my pocket. Looks like it is leaking from the air holes. But no the tip is come loose and just sitting there. So back home. Ill use one of the tanks I have rewicked. Which is the original evod tank. I do not like them but when im making new flavors they are nice but im finding out they taste different than my t3s tanks. Well the newly wicked tanks taste awful nothing like juice at all but taste like chemicals. I ran close to 2 ml through 2 different tanks with 2 different coils and still bad chemical taste. Also cleaned dry fired cleaned dry fired everything I can think of. So the t3s coil doesnt exactly fit just right on the evod tank but Frankensteined together a coil and its working ok. But still not a fan of the evod tank taste is always off and well capacity. So my questions are.

Just glue the tip back on the t3s?
Why is this wicking material tasting so bad?
What to buy for a low priced setup. Im not sure im ready for a expensive mod yet.
Where to buy that setup at.
What the heck is wrong with this wick?
Why does the evod tank taste different than the t3s?

Guess thats enough for now

Two points:

If a T3s appears to be disassembling itself and leaking it shouldn't do that. What flavor are you putting in that one? It sounds like the flavor is degrading the plastic. See here for more info on that topic: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-40.html

PT2/EVOD coils are physically different than T3s coils. That flat metal washer right below the wick is a different size and the fitting in the base it goes into is correspondingly different. A PT2/EVOD coil has the larger washer and won't fit down into a T3s base the way it's supposed to - resulting in battery contact problems and leaking.

On that particular T3s It was new had one tank ran through it. It was less than 24 hours old and i had a blueberry cream in it. With the T3s wick and tube on the original base and coil is what i put together to get a working tank. No leakage its working as good as it ever did. But like I said I dont like the particular tank as it for some reason diminishes flavor or changes it or something.
