I am on day 6 of being a non-smoker thanks to vaping. I've been using a couple gas station ecigs and a borrowed Ego. My biggest issue is the throat burn/taste I'm getting, even though I'm getting vapor. I probably take hits too close together, like I would when I'd smoke a cigarette. The Ego does give better hits and is more consistent, but it is still annoying to be constantly fooling around with topping it off. I would like to buy a better system, but it seems the drying out of the wick happens with all of them. Any news of a better designed one coming out? My throat is dry and getting sore. I'm using 100% Veg. Glycerine from neverlightagain (Tobacco - High). I'm disappointed that this happens even with a more expensive model. Would tank systems prevent this? One hit too many just ruins the otherwise pleasant experience.
I don't know if I'll continue to vape once I have the smoking beat, so I also don't want to spend too much on a system. I also don't think (?) I want to build a mod, though I would want to replace parts easily, if necessary. At this point, I don't really want to fool around with it that much. I'm finding they are somewhat quirky and annoying.
Also, my neverlightagain ecig came with a lithium ion battery ($20), but I read unspecific warnings about them. I always thought lithium ion batteries were the better batteries?
