Lets see a picture and then tell us what device you are using, what wire, watts,juice, coil dia, coil Ω, type of cotton/wicking technique.

Wirg cotton you want tge wick to be tight but still loose enough to slide inside the coil.
Cotton swells when saturated with Juice. If there is too much cotton you will have wicking issues or Dry hits.
Too loose the coil pops and spits.
Wicking properly us hardee than wrapping the coil.
Cleito RTA was my first attempt at building.
Sadly, I failed the challenge, no matter what wicking method it would flood on me when refilling then leak through the air holes. My advice if problems persist and its your first attempt at building is don't let the experience sway you. Immediately after my Cleito building deck, I moved to a Griffin 25 with absolutely 0% issues, none, nada, zilch.
Basically, I don't find the Cleito RTA section a pleasurable beginners experience. Others have no issues (and that's fine) more power to them.

Trick with the RTA for Cleito is enough cotton stuffed as tight as you can right down through the wicking holes. Leave your ends long enough to pack the wicking holes. I have been using my for 3 months and never had a leak other than the first couple days before I learned to pack the channels. Best RDA on the market in my opinion if you have an authentic. Bough two clones from FastTech and they were garbage. Threw them in the garbage the day they arrived. As for flavor, not the greatest but I flip around to different tanks and mods through out the day. Different wicking materials can change flavor. CHEERS!
with some devices... the more cotton the better, a few kangers are like that.
Right on thanks for the tips I'll try that and I just picked up that RTA because of the price I'll eventually get a real one
