Sorry probably should have mentioned that.
Currently I have a dual parallel build reading .3 ohms on a plume veil.
.what I mean by the wicking is I normally just have enough wick on either side to touch the deck and leave under the coil free. But with this having such greater surface area and 2mil diameter should I put wick under the coil as its probably going to drink the juice.
IMO, you should have as much wicking material as can be fit without too severely disrupting the air flow. More material means more juice means more vapor mean less burning.
With cotton, sometimes less is more. So per the usual, make sure it is not too tight. And with the plume veil, it has multiple points in which air is drawn into the atty, so just make sure those areas are free from cotton.
Don't overstuff the deck. What I do is I keep a fair amount of cotton on the side of the coil opposite to the side that is closest to the wall of my atty. I slide that under the coil and make sure it does not actually touch it. Then I snip the other end so that there is only enough to touch the base. That seems to work best for me.
