Wicks and wires at Walmart?

Hi I'm fairly new to rebuilds I only have a terminator c and vivi. Does Walmart sell wires and what would I buy. Also any guides on wrapping different resistances

There are folks who use types of cotton yarn, available at WalMart. I don't know much about it. I don't use fiber wicks. But no, you will not find resistance wire for making coils there.

Steammonkey.com has a good selection of wire (and wick if you want it). The material that people get at walmart is the peaches and cream yarn that is 100% cotton. Many don't like to use silica and cotton is good to use.. I use slivers of 100% cotton makeup rounds and also plain ole cotton balls. Boiling the cotton and letting it dry is a good idea to clean it. Cotton can not be dry burned and has to be kept saturated or it will burn. Once it's burned, it will have to be changed. There are several threads floating around on the first few pages that talk about different materials (cotton and silica) for the threaded rbas.
