Anyone have a wife or husband that doesn't "get" e-cigs? Here's my story. I quit smoking and chewing using an e-cig and she's happy about it. On the other hand, she expects me to use up basically all my juice before i buy any more. Honestly, i have 10 sample bottles and two 15ml bottles and don't like about half of them. Any comments?

Insist she wear all her clothes until they are worn out before she buys more. That ought to settle it.

Or insist that you both eat all the food in the pantry before buying more groceries.

Hope this helps! :)

Yes, actually...
Take the amount of money you spent on 'bacco products and use a "base" amount as your allowance for spending on juices
Plenty of juice reach their peak flavor after steeping for a while, and others do well straight away so aren't equal in usage values
Having some juices that aren't your cup-of-tea right now might do well mixed in another, or as a last resort even juice you can't stand is acceptable if you are totally OUT of juice LOL
You probably have more than one pair of shoes, boxes of cereals and various cans of vegetables... having selection and choices is good!

Srcowell's comeback is a good one, and asti's comments are spot on. :) You can also tell her that we all know from experience, if you don't find a few juices that you like well enough to become your all day vapes, the newness of vaping itself will eventually wear off and you'll be tempted to go back to smoking. Would she really eat or drink something just because it's there, even though she doesn't like it?

I like srcowell's response as well. As for me, I just tell my wife to leave me alone as long as the bills are paid and our kids have what they need. I don't go wild or anything, but if I need or want some juice I buy it. I work hard for my money so if I want to spend some on juice I'm just gonna do it. I don't comment or complain on her makeup buys, which is probably more costly than my vaping supplies.

Whhhaaat???? You have both a wife AND a girlfriend???

I was kind of confused by that, too. After further consideration, I'm not sure that I want to know...lol!

***Back On Topic!***

Seriously, would your wife rather have you throwing money out the window smoking analogs, stinking up the house, your clothes, your hair and your car? You really can't be expected to just vape one or two flavors. How boring and droll would that be? It takes time to find the right flavors that you end up vaping more than any other. Hell, I haven't truly found that "all day-can't live without" flavor yet, and I've been vaping for 2 months now.

I agree with Womanofthe Heart lol!!! You DO need a good supply of juice and you DO need to keep on it. Alot of vendors hand-mix their juice fresh- those have to have a week to 2 weeks (more like 2 weeks) steeping time. Plus, it does take a while to find your "sweetspot" when it comes to juices. She's just going to have to chill out and relax a little. The company that I buy my juice from has huge sales and I've managed to get myself stocked up on my favorites plus alot of new ones that I want to try. For sure, start with small bottles, keep on eye on the forums and buy when they're having sales- that's key here. Another reason that I like to keep stocked up is (and you can point this out to her too), I want to assure myself that I'm committed to this, AND.....what if (God forbid) they do decide to ban these????

I made a spreadsheet showing how much money I was spending on analogs per paycheck. I then cut that amount in half and that's what i get as my vaping allowance. So every time i get a package in the mail and my hubby puts up a stink I can show him that i have not spent outside my allowance and that normally shuts him up. :) What i really love is when he has spent his cigg allowance and has no cigs and i'm still vaping away hehehehe.

This is my vote. Last night my wife said, "Wow! That was a great deal. Now you won't have to buy any for a long time." I just looked at her and smiled. "I don't haaaaaaaave to." *evil genius villain smile*
