I'm seeing a lot of rave reviews on RXW 3mm. I might have to give it a try. I currently use RXW 2mm. Does anyone know if the 3.5mm is even better?

2mm Readyxwick was never large enough for my mtl hits. I wouldn't mind trying 3mm or larger.

You guys will like 3mm RxW better. It's more dense, holds more juice, and will give a few extra hits before squonking. I have 2 feet of 3mm in the drawer from the recent sale RBA had; but however, I decided to just use CC because my favorite juice requires frequent coil tinkering. I'll find a juice I can use the RxW with eventually. For now though, and considering the price as well... I'm better off just changing and using CC.

CC and RxW are the best two wicking materials..., especially in a REO. :thumb:

It threads into 3/32 really easy as long as the coil is tight. I hard a hard time getting it into a 3/32 spaced coil, ended up having to trim off about a half a wick worth of frayed mess when it finally made it through.

I've had much better luck getting RxW to run juice that I used to put in my Subtank to finish off the coil, I do check under the hood and clean it up before I need to get the torch out. So far I've washed them when the flavor starts to fade and the wick has been more tan than brown, turns white and new with some hot water. I'm sure it's not the best idea, but I have been dry burned it, washed it in the sink, dry burned it again until most of the steam stopped and reloaded it with juice. It took maybe 10 squonks before it was back to normal, kind of like a NASCAR pit stop with a yellow flag. :) I recently got a 3rd Nuppin to speed that process up to F1 style so I can dry burn, wash and then throw on the clean one that's already dry.

3/32" seems to be the best diameter mandrel for use w/ the 3mm RxW that I have found and I've been using it exclusively for well over a year now. The trick to RxW, IMO, is it is nothing like traditional wicking. If it just slides into the coil, it doesn't work properly. It needs to be threaded into the coil. I find it best to moisten the tip, (cut at 45deg), and pinch and roll with your fingers to make a point. Then insert the point into the coil and screw it in the same direction as your coil is wound. You will find that after it is in the coil it will move easily, but still make full contact with the coil. My wicking has lasted me minimum of 3 months from original setup and a couple are nearing the 5 month range. It doesn't get much more simple than this IMO....
I think I will give the RxW a try; I watched some of the vids over on their site, seems pretty straight forward although on some of the builds they are stuffing a lot of wick into the atty's.Not a lot of room on the reomizer deck.

The best advise I saw so far on this topic was to teach the wife to rewick. She would then soon stop burning wicks.

I tried that, but HRH refuses to do it. She mentioned something about teaching me to cook as i recall.

Anyway, given that i am the coil-replacer around this house, it makes sense to me to use wicks and coils that i find easiest to make and that have enormous longevity.

I'll have to try the new fatter RxW; i only run Dark Horse atties so i have loads of room in those.

An ingenious person could I'm sure adapt this fasionable safety device into automatically feed system for a squonker. Would need to replace the Bud cans with two 500ml bottles of e-liquid and fit some sort of automatic feeder valve or some such. Oh, a neck brace my be a good optional extra, there you have it, about 3 months of trouble free vaping.
P.S. I apologise, this popped into my head and I just couldn't resist. I'm a D**K, I know:evil:
P.P.S. I am sorry I couldn't post something a little more helpful
