All: just heard back from Heather's Heavenly Vapes. Their e-liquids contain no artificial colors, so that is where I'm headed. I would liked to have tried Virgin Vapor, but they do not appear to have any tobacco flavors. Guess I'll put together my own "sampler pack". Thank You to all for your input. :)

Now if I can just remember where I saw that stupid Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream flavor. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. 8-o

Atomic Grasshopper - $5.00 : Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids

She currently smokes Pall Mall 100 Blue. When it comes to analogs, she can smoke any old cheap cig and not be bothered by it. She smokes upwards of a pack a day. We have stuck to the tobacco flavors because of all the problems I have heard about using the dessert, fruit, coffee and candy flavors: premature burnt cartos, clogging et al. Plus she just doesn't have any interest in those types of flavors. She loves the smell of pipe tobacco, so I have high hopes in HHV's "Gandalf" as well as a few others there.

HHV is a great choice. In addition to Gandalf and Atomic Grasshopper (mint chocolate chip IC :D), you might also get her some Caramel Apple Tobacco - $5.00 : Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids

Good luck! :)

You can try 3ml samples there... 4 for $8. Go ahead and grab one or two sample packages. They have great tobacco and the mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Edit: Seems I wasn't paying attention. Guess you got it covered.

Another Question: How would you all recommend taste-testing all of theses juices? I'd hate to "flavor" 12 different cartos, and she would probably get tired of cleaning the vivi nova in between different flavors, so I am thinking about just having her drip them to begin with. I know an atty can become flavored over time, but I figure this method will at least minimize the cross-flavor contamination.

Thoughts?

I coughed a bit the first couple of days from all the tobacco flavors - even at 6 on the nicotine scale... but the chocolate and coffee flavors saved me. I even ordered 0 nicotine juices - all day vaping, I was getting too much nicotine so I swap around.
PG is bothersome to me so most of what I have is all VG and lots more on the way - I figure by the end of this week (hopefully) I'll be set until xmas.
So far, my faves are a cool buttermint sort of flavor - butterscotch and wintermint
and dark chocolate

I have a hard time with this, I can't seem to find a good way to do it, but honestly cleaning a vivi nova only takes a couple minutes, and an atomizer only takes a minute, so in the long run you're not wasting much time. The less of a flavor you've vaped the shorter the clean time.

An idea for quicker cleaning: have a replacement head for your Vivi ready, quickly rinse the tank, swap the head and let the old one sit in some cleaning solution. When you want to switch again just swap back (after rinsing) the other head and it should cut down on your cleaning time.

As a note: It's really great that you're so enthusiastic about this. My partner is, but my friends aren't as much and it's so much easier with an enthusiastic partner to stick with it. She's let me turn it into a little bit of a hobby and listens to me. You're doing an awesome job, keep it up!

I use "shorty cartomizers for 510/ego" for testing juices. A few vendors sell them, some are a lot cheaper than others but now that it has been brought to my attention I can't think of who had the cheapest. Madvapes has them Super Shorty 2.5 Ohm 510 Chrome Cartomizer too.

But when I don't want to mess with cartos I have a spare vivi nova for juice testing and like others have said all it takes is a simple unscrewing, rinsing it under the faucet and popping it back together. 20 seconds max.

It just all depends on what you prefer. Cartos or clearos. I hate attys. :vapor:

My first attempts at dripping didn't go well for me. I tried to use a low res atomizer, which most recommend and it was just too hot
of a vape for me and too burny tasting. I didn't enjoy it, at all. I suspect your wife might not like that, either.

The next attempts were much better with a regular resistance Joyetech atomizer. I then tried a regular resistance bridgeless 510 atomizer - don't care for them. So, I always test using Joyetech atomizers. Start with low voltage and work up if you prefer. You can get some flavorless PG/VG to drip a couple of drops and puff with between flavors if you wish. Me, I continue to vape it until the flavor goes away. Then, I drip a couple drops of a new flavor a few times. Another tip. Don't just have one drip atomizer on hand.

If I have a bunch of flavors to test I kind of plan out the order of my tasting based on the type and strength of flavor. So, with tobaccos I'd drip a lighter tobacco flavor first, then the more complex and stronger tobaccos next. Any desserty or straight fruit vape, I would do last.

Don't forget that complex flavors and tobacco flavors usually need to steep for a week or two before the real flavor develops. Still doesn't keep me from test dripping them right out of the mailbox.
