Hey guys, i ordered and received some xxl cartos and wanna use them with my tank but unsure if they'll leak without the flange on the bottom....has anyone tried this?
will a carto with no flange on the bottom fit a dc2 tank without leaking?

The flange doesn't prevent leaking, it just prevents the tank from sliding down. Just make sure you aren't holding the tank whenever you remove a drip tip because there's nothing to stop the tank from moving... screw it onto a mod first that way the tank doesn't fly off and you end up with juice everywhere.
I would say that if your tank sits tight on the carto then you shouldn't need one with a flange. I have two tanks and one is quite loose and would slide down if I didn't have a flange carto for it. The other tank stays put and I don't need the flange cartos for it.
