An atty that is wet will sizzle. Even after I let mine dry overnight, they still sizzle a little right away. Then after 2-3 burns they are dry and burn off any gunk that might be in there. Like everyone says, just be careful, especially with a LR. Don't let it burn more than a few seconds to be safe and keep an eye on it.

Yeah. As soon as a LR atty glows once it's good to go. Don't do it again.

That's right. Can't stress this enough: LR needs to be kept moist at all times when in use! Don't let these dry out and DO NOT dry burn them as you would other atomizers. Make sure to give them a good "blow out" every night/ every other night or so, and leave it at that!

If you clean your Attys the way you said, after cleaning put the atty to your mouth and blow it out,,,then if you leave it to rest for 24 hours it will be completely dry,,and a little moisture isn't going to hurt a clean atty anyhow,,you just gonna load it with juice and vape away, and there will be no need to dry burn your atty.

the point is dried on gunk is on the heating coil, which is why it may not be perform as well. when you blow it, you only blow out excess liquid and there is still gunk on the mesh/coil.. thats why people use isopropyl alocohol or dry burn or other methods like vinegars to try and remove the gunk

+ yeah I havent tried dry burning an LR atty but i would only do it once, i usually dry burn mine for EITHER:

til it glows orange then i letgo
or a max of 5 seconds, if its not glowing by then i still let go and give it another blast

after a couple go's it will just glow orange in like 1 second then your done, stop.

I did not realize at first that the atomizer that came with my ego was LR, but i did notice the extra vapor, and the fact that it glowed bright, really quickly. When i fried it it actually caught fire for maybe two seconds, right after going from bright orange to crazy white like a light bulb filament, ...... me off too; it was the best one i had - only LR i had also. It did not take too long, i was dry burning it just like i always do with my others.

I wouldn't dry burn them.

Blow them out repeatedly from both ends, let them sit awhile to dry, and try to vape them. If you get a moist thick feeling (can't think of a better way to describe it) and little to no vapor, it's still got water in it. Either wait for it to dry out some more, keep vaping until it works, or put some ejuice or plain PG in it and blow it out again. Any of those options will get the water out.
