First off, these appear to be eFest batteries. Typically NOT rated as labelled. Second, what build is in your Velocity? Are you familiar with Ohms and Watts Laws?

With those batteries, I'd be running about 1.2-1.5 ohms as a coil resistance, and less than 20W on the device.

Have you read this: Battery safety grades table updated with wattages and coil resistances

Dr. Oz is now doing exploding vape gear?
LMAO that was my 1st thought when reading this. I bet he butchered all the info. The good thing though is if he scares people into learning so i can't complain.

resistance doesn't matter since it's regulated. i know DJLsb had one of those vent on him at 14 amps before. so to be safe i'd say it has to stay under 10 amps if you had to use them (which i don't recommend OP using them) which means as long as it's under 60 watts they will never pull more then 10 amps

I actually use efest batteries an they are Fine, weather they differ in the uk i dont know
sorry skold... but that 30a is more likely to be a 10a c quality battery that is one puff away from going into thermal meltdown in that sweet sweet priv... lol. if there is one thing almost every single person on these forums agrees on... it's that efest batteries are not to be trusted and get sony/lg/samsung instead. it's basically the one thing we don't argue about... hehehehehehe

The new metallic purple efests I think were tested by Mooch to be true 20a cells...possible HG2 or some other 20a cell rewraps.
note the words possible... it can change... safer to go with a battery that isn't a rewrap, period... *gibbs slaps mongo for daring to argue*.
