Thanks for this. Yes - my liquid comes with nicotine already in there... I'm purchasing from totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk at the moment. But there isn't all that much selection and a lot of very sweet flavours which are actually making me feel a little dizzy as I mentioned. I'm surprised there isn't an unflavoured option as I can't be the only one who feels like that? Although maybe it's cause I'm moving off from cigs and will get used to the sweet taste. I would definitely like to try mixing my own liquids from scratch, but as a newbie I don't think I'll be doing that right now because, yeah, it's much more simple for me to just buy a bottle for the time being! In the morning it bugs my throat a bit but quickly stops. I have just started out using lower wattage in the AM.Great advice - thanks. I should get a higher mg for when I'm drinking. Someone suggested to stop drinking alcohol altogether, but let's face it, that's never going to happen! So this is a good solution! Another quick question as you've been so helpful - do you ever get a tickly/itchy sensation in your throat when you're smoking the e-cig (especially when I start off a vaping session). In the beginning, that morning vape can be harsh. I know at least one person that can't push past that. He continues to have his morning cigarette. Vapes the rest of the day. It works for him. I pushed past that and now it doesn't bother me.
Cigarettes are engineered (things added) to not give that harshness.
Play around with different ways to vape. After a bit, you should find what works for you. You may come to find that you don't need to vape until your coffee is ready. Never happens to me but there are some that can actually function before vaping.

That goes for many ecig users. Takes awhile to break any habit for sure. Thoroughly amazes me that some can quit first day tho.
Everyone is different do you stay around smokers? That will make it harder?

It took me about three months before I stopped craving cigarettes. I also struggled with not smoking when having a few drinks, but I forced myself to use the e-cig as much as I could. I fell off the wagon a few times because the battery died. It felt like the cravings were never gonna stop and then all of a sudden they did.
Thanks for that - definitely gives me hope! And even since posting this my cravings have gone right down... The only big problem is when I drink alcohol and when my colleagues go out for a smoke! But I'll get there....
Used to smoke newports 100's and just decided I needed to stop so took a full dive into vaping and the morning I woke up didn't even smoke I unpackaged my provari and nautilus tank and never looked back since. It was hard in the beginning but after a few months it gets easier and easier and now I'm 9 months complete vaping not even a pull of a cigarette and the urge is extremely faint. The cons of smoking being so expensive and always worrying about having enough cigs for the night and for the next day and all that worry and drama is gone. Was posted in another thread about being at a restaurant and when smoking cigs used to always be thinking about smoking maybe after an appetizer then finishing your meal and wanting so bad to leave just to smoke again..I am always conscious of many of those little nuisances that came hand in hand with smoking. The tiny amount of crave left is stomped on quickly knowing all those little things i don't have to stress about anymore. I absolutely never thought i would stop smoking, I used to look at vapers and think to myself theres no way that can be better for you... but was posted on another thread he explained it perfectly for himself and its the same for me it was my cravings for cigarettes that were being threatened so any and everything that would take me away from my cigarettes i wouldn't want to touch with a 10 foot pole! I am really amazed it stuck I really never thought id quit smoking I just wanted to give it a good shot just to say at least i tried and who knew its one of the best things I've ever done that i didn't think i could ever do.... If I could stop anyone can.. Just make vaping your own they can have their cigarettes and you can be much happier vaping as I and everyone else here is
I was smoking newport 100's so 95 percent of the time I'm vaping menthol.. I've tried other flavors but I'll just vape it for like 5 minutes.. So I'm happy vaping menthol pretty much all the time.. still looking for a great juice used to vape menthol wish from vista vapors its what i started on and since its discontinued been searching for another juice but my current menthol does just fine... been through so many menthols. maybe drinking you would appreciate a hard hitting menthol much more. Only like the peppermint kind of menthol can't stand the mint or wintergreen types
After you have been vaping a good while that will get easier, when I go out drinking with my buddies (they all smoke) I'll bum one and be sickened by it by the time I'm finished with it and not smoke another one all night. In the beginning I would have bought a pack afterwards on the way home but not anymore. Even still if I have a cigarette while out drinking it's not a big deal because when I get home I am back to vaping full time.
Recently though I have got one of them very interested in vaping which gives me hope that one day we all might be out drinking and vaping.
I'm 2 1/2 years into it and still think of a cigarette even though I was a light smoker 3-4 a day. It took me a couple of months to completely stop. Don't beat yourself up, go with the flow and you'll get there. Any by the way, congratulations on your success so far

GingerAnd yes... At home I'm living with a non-smoker and haven't smoked once at home or has any real desire... At work though... I'd say 70% are smoking and this is the hardest challenge. But I'm determined.Woohoo!!! Well done you - hope I'll be the same a few months down the line!
