Will pass thru work when battery will no longer charge?

I have a pass thru ego and I'm wondering if when the battery hits the end of its life and no longer charges will it still work as a stand alone type pass thru? I'm currently saving for a high end mod with VV/VW and I would hate for something to happen to the one I have and have nothing to vape. I know someone will say "buy a backup" but I really don't wanna spend any more on egos unless I have to, when I'm just gonna ditch them soon as possible for a APV. It currently works fine but I'm one of those pray for the best, expect the worst types.

good question.
i would assume it would unless a dead battery causes to much of a drain on the
built in charger.
when in normal use it is charging and allowing to vape at the same time.
i guess you and i will have to wait and see.

Many Battery Pass-Thru's won't work if the Battery is Wacked.

Wow that is a awesome buy! I think Ill order one so i can have a back up just in case, I have a Mophie juice pack i can hook it up to and use it on the go. I just wanted to avoid spending $20+ on another ego battery that wont see much use when i get a good VV/VW mod. Thanks for the info,that is a good idea!

Yeah... It is a Cool Unit.

I have one and it works Very Good. You can also use it with a Power Bank if your Power Bank has 5v USB Out with 2 Amps or More.

And if your Power Bank Doesn't have an Auto Shut-Off.
