I can go down to skid row (so help me God ... lol) pure nicotine and Reserve Cigarettes. Even 'fallen from grace' docs will issue any prescription for a few bucks.

Thtas it. I'll head down too my nearest skid-row & grab some fresh bakky juice spit in a cup. Black market? This can't be compared with booze prohibition. Who shall risk prison for the small profit that boot legged nic juice could bring LOL.I can see it now all of us heading for the local blind pig for a hit of nic juice.

I don't see a ban coming, but like others have said, it'll likely be taxed though IMO maybe to the point where we're not saving as much compared to analogs. There's a small article in Time magazine this week about how this can be the next thing to cash in on similar to how energy drinks caught on in the last decade, and that right now, e-cigs do make up a decent sized market share. A couple big tobacco companies have invested in e-cigs though Phillip Morris has not.
