I am sure I read the MSDS on this before, I don't feel this would be a good substitute. The NOALOX is readily available at hardware stores.

thanks for the input. I already had this on hand and thought it might be the same. Our hardware store carries this instead of noalax is what they tell me anyways so was a no go at my local hardware store. Guess I will have to "go to town" was trying to avoid that 45 minute drive though...

I dont see why it wouldnt work. you can try it and let us know.
I havent ever tried it but its worth a try. Youre not going to vape it as it wont be in contact except on the threads.

Yeah I thought about trying it BUT i don't want to take any unnecessary risks when it comes to the threads of my SB. It "might" work and i don't see why it wouldn't but I also don't have the money to buy a new SB if it doesn't. Maybe when I win the lotto I will give it a shot. lol

Ah thanks. I tried looking the other day and was clueless. I was looking in plumbing lol

Once every other week has been my routine, although typically about the 3rd/4th week, I noticed squeaking noises lol.
