The main reason many/most people start smoking cigarettes in the first place is because it is "cool" and "edgy" ...... teenagers always wanting to be rebels and the usual peer pressure of youth !!

Thinking 20 years ahead - Vapers are people who are "migrating" from cigarettes ...... so hypothetically speaking, if e-cigs do become dominant in the (distant!) future and the "supply" of "new" cigarette smokers diminishes ...... where would "new" Vapers come from ??

Will schoolkids be sneaking round the back of the bike-sheds to vape some badass Green Tea flava ?!

Moreover ......

Will the villain in a James Bond movie take a drag on e-cig while telling 007 how he's gonna torture him to death ?!

Will guys ask the hot girls in a nightclub if they need some e-liquid when they pull an e-ni out of their handbag ?!

Will dudes talk about being a "10ml a day man" ...... will people need to vape after having sex ?!

-

Basically, are Vapors a dying breed that will only last a single generation ??

Well, the way I see it is...

Like some others have said...analog won't go away anytime soon. Big tobacco is just too...BIG.

On the other hand, I can look at someone like myself. I had not touched an analog in 6 years. I actually had a severe 20 year addiction to smokeless tobacco (dip) that vaping has helped me break.

That being said, I honestly think that had I never touched an analog cigarette, nor had I ever touched dip, I'd still really enjoy vaping. Yes, I realize that most people say "If you aren't addicted to analogs, don't start vaping." But I say why not? With the right liquid, the taste is great. It really is something a person can truly enjoy and NOT have to worry so much about the ill-sided health affects (like alcohol or smoking).

As long as I can afford it, I'll always vape. And I think that others will feel the same long into the future.

Yeah, people I work with and fb friends are always asking me how I'm going to break the habit of vaping. My reply is that it's just like anything else..you wean yourself off it or you don't.

I like my ecig but I'd prefer to not be hooked on anything. I don't see this as a lifetime habit like cigarette smoking was (until I started vaping).

So, who knows. I use this thing to make me quit smoking not to give me a replacement habit. I enjoy it but I don't enjoy feeling a craving for anything.
