Will ZAP fit on a flat top MOD?

Just got a Provari and ZAP from the classies here. Does the band on the bottom come off? Can it be used on a flat top mod?
TIA. Any suggestions or helpful hints would be appreciated.

I once read where someone said you could get the ring off but I don't know. I had one and didn't see a way to get it off but I never really tried other than look at it.

I have one I got on the classies where someone tried to get the ring off and now it moves, but it still doesn't come off. I wouldn't recommend it.

My other ZAP, the previous owner was using it on a flat top mod using a 510 to 510 connector. He offered to send it with the ZAP, but I told him no thanks, I have a ProVari to put it on.

Thanks for the info guys. I have an adapter, I'll try it out when it gets here. I may end up keeping it on the Provari but I like to know my options.

I was able to get mine to spin off, but there will be a HUGE gap between the atty and your mod. You will hate it; ask me how I know...
