Seriously Kay? That's messed up..don't tell me here, I don't wanna kno how it's done
Wish I was kidding, but unfortunately it is no joke. Where I live, the state of Queensland, it is illegal for me to possess or use e-cigarettes containing nicotine. It is not as strict for most of the other states in Australia; however, the sale of nicotine is still illegal Australia-wide; Nicotine is classed as a schedule 7 poison in Australia and it is illegal to sell it except as a licensed medication.
All vapers in Australia who use nicotine are forced to buy it from overseas. It is somewhat of an expensive venture, especially with the dismal Aussie dollar value and added international shipping costs; however, it is universally agreed amongst us vapers that it is cheaper (a pack of cigs costs almost AU $30 nowadays) and healthier.
Trying to convince our law makers of this is an uphill battle. Tobacco means big money to them, especially with the ridiculous tax hikes they apply on cigarettes. With the way the laws have been, we all fear the BAN. It would undoubtedly force most of us poor folks back onto cigarettes.
