I am with you on that. I am not rough on my gear but they still tend to show signs of wear after a bit and the silver is a bit more forgiving

I like to use the silicone sleeve on my mods, seems more comfortable to me so the color doesn't show much anyways.

So far the paint on my Evic Mini is holding up great...no scratches as of yet--and it gets abused pretty good

The only one I seem to like the silicone sleeve on is my Cloupor Mini. And I think that's just because I tend to play with the battery door if it's not on there.

I should take a pic of my old E-Lvt - people can run it over with their truck - never did that but I still broke off the threads, cracked the screen, and put scratches in it. . .between animals, work, and concrete floors. . .my old old MVP V1 stayed functional right up until the battery finally gave up...
I should try a sleeve but all I can afford is the cheapest of tube mods these days...so if I won a nice box I would be a very happy sloth.
