In this case, not really sure what 'good' is.

He left a really good job in AK to follow his dream and start his own tower climbing biz and has actually done quite well. He actually gets up and down towers better than most of the young guys but doesn't have the invincibility complex many of them have.

If he takes this job, then his days as a biz owner are done. The $$$ will be almost as much as he made in AK but with lower cost of living and will mean that he will be living in OH most of the time. Like 3 wks there and one week here...

I won't complain about the $$$ but can manage on whatever we have. I just want him to do what makes him happy or happiest.

Won't you be lonely??

Sounds like a good opportunity. 3 weeks gone is rough, I wouldn't like that part.

Actually rather used to it. When we lived in AK, he lived in Anchorage and I in Juneau because I wouldn't move.

I miss him for about a day then realize he isn't here and feel the need to take care of everything while he is away. Then he comes home for a bit and at first takes me a day or so to get used to him being here, then he leaves and we go thru it all over again

I'm just embracing my inner ornament now. It's a valid hobby now according to Joan! From what I understand what she says goes. So it has to be true. Plus it was on the internet. I read it online. That will be my excuse. It works already. I'm already convinced.

That's me. But I save that behavior for the people dearest to me. I'm quite normal otherwise.
