1. How do you think the "Voice Control" technology
Umm...I'm not sure to be honest. I have voice control on my phone, Kindle, and my Chromebook, but I've never used it besides initially setting it up to see if it works.
I'm hard of hearing, have tinnitus, and I wear hearing aids. I have difficulty pronouncing new words, and some old ones too. I mean, if someone corrects my pronounciation (spelling?), a lot of the time, how I am saying the word and how they are saying the word, to my ears, sound exactly the same.
So, I'm not sure how voice control would work for me. I have yet to watch the video above, so I don't know if it would learn my accent and adapt like other voice recognition software. Seems like it would be a hassle to build that in as well.
I'm sure it would be useful for those that have dexterity problems with pushing buttons. Some of the medication I am on makes my hands shake when I'm trying to do fiddly things. If it wasn't for my hearing problem, I can imagine, it could be a very useful feature to have.
