Dry hits, same ratio and brand eliquid and wick so nothing new introduced its like the coil is heading way to fast or hot you can here a sizzle after taking a hit

weird - if ohms are reading right on mod (same as on ohm meter) and it is firing, then coil or insulator should not really be the issue... same type of wicking material? did you end up with pampers wicking accidentally? does it taste like dooky?
