This here post is exactly why I heart you a really lot. As you so eloquently stated, the true win is in the fellowship and the celebration. The mod is just a bonus for a few (or 200) random folks!it's ironic that the ones squeaking about not posting enough to win have not actually taken the time to double check that - easy enough to do, compare winners lists to the post counts and that theory is doing the backstroke in the loo...
the major downside is that their perspective of 'winning' is so shallow and shortsighted... but, folks with that perspective invariably reap what they sow, then waste an inordinate amount of time trying to fix the blame on an external source, when the root of the problem is right in front of 'em - every time they gaze in the mirror...
don't get me wrong - there are definitely folks who are in situations where winning a mod would be an immense blessing - and they have all the well wishing and good luck vibes I can send
