Ha! It IS the same living room!! Also, how do you keep your X Cube so scuff free?? Mine has little scratches all over it. I really need a silicone case for it. :(

my only suggestion would be kept playing with it you like it (yes i'm talking about vaping)
for me personally I don't sub ohm, tried didnt care for it too much I still like my protanks & kayfuns
I build my protanks at a bout 1.8 & kayfuns at about 1.2
But i'm getting into temp control they are sub ohm but i seem to be vaping them at lower temps & lower joules then most do

Well ..I never tried it and I don't lung hit so I have no idea how this is going to work out.....I don't care for a hot vape. The mod will do temp control which is why I got it but I just wanted to start simple first. It's all ready to go just didn't know what to set it to ..

A neighbor came over the other day. He knew I vaped but didn't tell me he was thinking of trying vaping. He went down to the b&m. They asked what kind of cigarettes he smoked and how many per day. Then recommended he start at 18 mg. Then proceeded to sell him a mod and a Kanger subtank mini. The poor guy came over looking all bewildered. I thought he was about to croak.
The b&ms need to better train their people to advise beginners me thinks.

PS: And I don't understand why so many new vapers think they need to jump right into sub ohming.
Plus I should have said the some b&ms need to better train..........

It's in an ego vet mini and flavor is unflavored right now.

I'd probably start around 15w-18w and bump up 2w-3w every few Draws to see what works best. If it gets to warm or starts to taste off, just back down a watt or two.

That's why I'm getting into mechs. I already rebuild and I'm on 1mg. If I hadn't drop the nic, if miss it but I'd survive. It's the ones who have yet to transition over that I feel sorry for. :(:(:(
sounds like your plan is well in effect I hope the laws & restrictions are not bad

It is still so confusing to me..lol. What wattage would anyone recommend for 1st time sub ohm with a .5 coil. So far I have not gone above 12w but that was with a 1.2 coil
Maybe start at 20W and go from there, in 1W increments. If it tastes burnt, turn it down. If not, turn it up until you find your happy setting. I usually build to 0.6-0.7Ω and vape at around 20W. But all my juices are sweet and creamy - if yours aren't, you could probably go higher.

If someone had somehow showed me back then what I'd be vaping on now, I would have told them they're nuts!
Me too!! I did go through a ton of different cartos back in the day but I never thought I would be doing the same thing with mods, lol!
