But they might have to be DIMMABLE LEDs to do the low/high thing. They have dimmable CFLs too, but they just can't handle frequent on/offs (they're meant to stay on for hours at a time).

I will have to check that out. It's been 2 years since I found out the CFLs won't work. They don't even turn on! Of course technology has likely caught up to that by now, so I will see what they have to say at Home Depot the next time I'm there.
