Well, just a little update. My DIY is going only "meh"

I think it's my lack in variety.... Everything comes out either on the "flavorless" side (just can't taste much)

Or too "rich"
And just after a few puffs, gets to be a little too much.... All my flavors are TFA so idk if it's them or me....

But so far, no all day vape....
And skip the nic when flavoring ;) Only after you get the right mix, add a small bit of nic.

You need to spend about a week in the DIY sub-forum
Read Danny's Blog

Check out some already successful TFA Recipes.

Time for Back to School :D

Yah I've lurked a bit on there. Good info and all... I think maybe it's just my tastes... I'm like really really picky. Maybe the flavors I've made are fine for others but for me they just get overwhelming. I've been doing quite a few different recipes based on others recipes. I almost think it's a "lack of options" that I have. Since I don't have that big of variety of flavors....

really depends on what you like - the butterscotch recipe that @gofishtx shared is all tfa flavors and it is amazing... i use a LOT of TFA flavors (and Capellas... and a decent bit of Flavor West and FlavorArt...)

I need to check that out. I like butterscotch quite a bit! I make it homemade for toast and pancakes!
Mmmm

Don't give up. Have you checked out the TFA thread in the DIY section ? There is a list of recipes and some guides available thru a Dropbox link. I've picked up a strawberry cheesecake recipe and a couple others I really like from there. I look at the recipe and then tweak it to my liking.

I'll go back and look again. Like I said above, I'm thinking its "lack of variety"

Instead of having low % of a bunch of flavors, I went with strawberry and cheesecake.... Kind of hard to "play around" with just a few flavors....

I think I may just need to order more flavors so I can put a hint of this or that into it...

Sounds good. I use brown sugar in my rub. I smoke til about 150...60 then wrap with more rub, butter and brown sugar till it reaches 195 then pull it out. 10 to 12 hours total on the flat. Cut the point up for burnt ends. They get seasoned and back in the smoker for an hour.....:)
Yep, we do ours similar but I rub mine down with Olive Oil to make the rub stick and I don't add more rub when I wrap it. I do cook it to the falling apart temp of 195 and then I cut the point off and cook a bit longer like you to get a better crust.

I am so glad I already ate, or this would make me hungry. Fortunately, it isn't doing anything for me at the moment, but I'll bookmark.

Have you ever wondered why on Gods Green Earth, they show FOOD commercials at or near the END of the super-bowl? Wasted ad money, methinks...
