Drinking beer and watching football
If scotch is slang for Whisky, I'm in. Otherwise, I'm in too.
Temp control or temp limiting is when you set a level (in this case measured in temperature) and the mod fires to that level and not any further. Once this happens the mod automatically throttled down the power to maintain that level.I'm exited to use the Temperature Control. But I'm not sure how it works, my current hardware has it as well.
so can you use kanthal coils with this device or just Ti / Ni coils?

If you haven't started using it yet run a quart or two of white vinegar through it then 8 or 10 pots of water will descale it real good.I just picked up a $200 8 cup Bunn.....for $12, I love thrift shops
There is a reason restaurants often use Bunn....they brew hot, and they brew fast.
This is what I got: Bunn Phase Brew HG 8-Cup Coffee Brewer Review
Works great

To do this the mod measures resistance changes on the coil during firing. Kanthal does not change resistance enough to measure for most mods yet. That means you have to use a different metals. This tech is maturing but at least for now means you need to use a different metal. Most people use nickel or titanium. Stainless steel is beginning to make some inroads as well.
The advantages are no burned wicks, less dry hits and the ability to fine tune your flavors.
Since you are working at (normally) lower resistances, it is important that you read up and understand ohms law, battery capability etc. There is lots of good info on the TC forum in the APV section.
Do my floor and feed my dogs and I'll supply the scotch I got two bottles.Laundry done, floor washed, dog fed, missing scotch.

You fly I buyI have the scotch
quick thinking.TFA sweet cream saved my life once. My nephews finished all the milk and didn't save me any for my morning coffee.
I went into my DIY kit, dropped a few drops of sweet cream and vanilla bean ice cream into my coffee, and I was good to go! YUM!

Typically for TC, you need Ti or Ni200 coils, .3 ohms or lower. Gotta check the specs on each one. Thanks! Not going to change anything without knowing what I'm doing. Also my coils aren't good for TC, apparently.
You can use both kinds.so can you use kanthal coils with this device or just Ti / Ni coils?
