How long is water good for before it expires??? Everything has an expiration date - its crazy - when I was a kid, we would eat and drink everything till it was gone!! I could just picture my dad throwing a case of beer away because it expired but my kids wont use anything that is close to expiring - go figure!!!

My water is coming from 300 feet below the ground, clean pure fresh water. I wouldn't keep water in a plastic jug long. My daughter brings her milk jugs when she visits and loads up. We still have the same amount of and same water we had when the earth was created, just recycled. It doesn't expire. I buy dated beef all the time. Aged is better. Briskets are better after 30 days from the kill date, so I always wait for or ask for a price markdown, usually 30%.

My Mom let me borrow her pressure cooker when I was 16 to try and make Dandelion wine. She was SOOOOOO cool! She didn't mind so much that it destroyed her pressure cooker. But I bottled it too early. Wired down the corks and all, and set them on the laundry room floor. There was less wire, than sugar left in the bottles. Kaboom. Good thing those clothes were already dirty!

LOL - I went to a magnet high school and for my senior year Organic Chem special project, we got to distill vodka... being responsible students, we made sure it was disposed of properly... being financially responsible students, we made sure to distill in bulk...
