Picture? And are you still under warranty? because if you are I would send it in and not try it myself.

The warranty is a year, and they haven't been selling that long, so it doesn't have any choice but to be under warranty.

Unless you did what I did, and got the extended warranty. Then it's two years. :vapor:

Yeah, they do a good job. A guy at my church wanted to quit smoking and ordered a ProVari on my recommendation. Unfortunately he was in that tiny minority that had the electronics fail right after he got it.
:(

ProVape had him send his in for replacement, and I expect he'll have a new one in his hands before next Sunday. Till then I loaned him my spare, and assured him this was the exception, not the rule, and that ProVape will make sure all is right in his vaping world.

ProVape will take care of me so I am not worried. ProVape did acknowledge that the design has been changed and improved. It only shows that ProVape is a quality supplier who stands behind the product.

Far more disconcerting is the comment-as innocent as it seems-by saintj and others of his/her ilk who feel the need to comment every time someone reports an issue with a PV. That comment is always "mine works fine". How does that help me? Blindly rushing to a supplier's defense (not that a defense was necessary, since there were no attacks from my side implied or otherwise) without taking the time to understand the facts makes one wonder about the the commenter's logical thought processes.

Does that mean that I do not have a legitimate issue, as in this case? If ProVape changed the design, then there is a reason.

I did not deprecate ProVape or the ProVari in any way. Quite the opposite, I complimented the speedy response and am quite happy with the unit otherwise.

Some vapers seem to almost deify their suppliers and PV's turning them into entities that can do no wrong. One sees this type of "cultism" far too often on ECF. Users dare not voice an opinion or complaint, even if legitimate, because it will generate so much needless and non constructive babbling.

I think you're reading something other than intended into saintj's comment. What I got from it is that he was interested in seeing how well ProVape responds to problems.

There's a repair shop I used to go to all the time, they did a great job and the prices were reasonable. The last time I took my car in, my garage door clicker disappeared from my car. I called and just suggested that someone might have taken it out and asked could they check around the shelves and see if a garage clicker that looked like such-and-such was there? The manager flipped out and demanded to know why I was accusing his people of stealing my clicker. I never said stole, and I wasn't upset about it - I figured it was just a mistake and no harm done. Maybe the manager was having a bad day. Maybe he had just been reamed by someone else. Maybe he's a complete jackass. I don't know and don't care. What I do know is that I haven't gone to that shop since because, while their work might be great, the way they handle problems sucks, and I don't have time for that crap.

A great product is only half the story. The other half is how well they stand behind it.

Truer words couldn't have been spoken.

I just received my Provari yesterday. Rocket fast shipping and no problems to report. I know that if there is ever a problem it shall be taken care of.

We are in a fledgling stage of this burgeoning industry and it is nice to see that the majority of the quality MOD innovators are standing behind their products. There will always be growing pains and how they are dealt with dictates just how painful they shall be.

Looking to remain a proud and pain-free member of the Provari family.

Thank you ScottinSoCal that was precisely where I was coming from with the post. Johnny 5 had his problem taken care of quickly, to his satisfaction said so. That was what I was interested in hearing. Thank you Johnny.

tonyorion I trust you feel better now, having got all that out of your system.

Hello, I just want to say first that I am glad Provape has responded favorably to the OP's issue. I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread but I am having kind of a similar issue. The (acrylic?) window on my Provari is feeling, how to say, spongy. I just noticed this today. It doesn't feel broken or loose, but it so happens, due to its placement, that my thumb is on it sometimes when pressing the button. Anyway, I felt the screen move inward today while vaping and I was very alarmed.

Is something like this normal due to the material it is made out of? I just worry that it may be an indication that the window could be damaged of failing. I LOVE my Provari, it has been the perfect vape since I got it about 3 months ago. Just wondering if anyone else has had an issue like this or should I contact Provape about it? And my apologies if I should have started a new thread.

Contact ProVape. I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

Quick question, if I were to order a Provari tonight (possibility lol) would the window on it be the improved design?

Also, I know the warranty doesn't cover if you drop the device (God forbid) but I'm clumsy, in this case could you possibly pay extra and have them repair it?

I've read about ppl dropping it all the time (painful to hear I know) and it comes through fine. Sounds like a solid device regardless, only thing that worries me is the electronics (which is why there's a warranty I suppose =)

TIA~Lumiis
