Wing Chun master smokes an E-Cig?

Hi everyone, I've recently came across this youtube vid of the wing chun master ip chun (son of ip man) smoking what i believe to an e-cig? (jump to 3:02) Just hoping you guys would the best to verify that!

Cos if it is, it is definitely a refreshing act coming from an 88 year old martial artist.

Looks like a tabacco pipe to me, i see where it looks like an e-cig though. But i think he is covering the bowl with his hands.
