Molicel puts out this notice for their 26700A batt... maybe the reason for the generic wrap... dunno

Actually it's a 26650 battery

I have thought about making these to sell, but I don't know if it is for me. If I did it wouldn't be for a while for a few reasons.

Actually I'm not sure which one you were referring to....since this is the 18650 thread (I have a 26650 in here then started a separate thread....and I was thinking this was the 26650 thread)

So I guess this is the 18350 !
This mod is the perfect combination between compact size, nice battery life (a 18650 is enough for most 90% of vapers I would say) and vaping power (DNA20). Make it in light aluminium and you've got a damn good mod !

Oh ok, I didn't see the 26650 version. Just a bit big for my taste, less universal.
The 18650 is near perfect. I would make it with the fire swith on the top I think... I would be able to build anything

Both I bought cut out at 3.52v. No glitches or hang-ups from full voltage to cut off voltage vaping at 15 watts. woohoo!!

They're 5mm longer (70mm vs 65mm) than the MNKE batts, same width (26mm), and fit aok in Sam...

That is Awesome!!! I have two Moli coming as well as an efest to try.

BTW....have you cycled your MNKE a few times and tried them again? I was amazed at the performance I was getting out of them the other day after I had used the MNKE for a few cycles in low wattage vaping and then went to a 16w genesis setup and it was going strong further down on the battery indicator than I had remembered. When I tested under load the MNKE was now dropping just under .2v under load (1.2 ohm coil, 16 watt), battery voltage was 3.6v off load.

Well after way to long a new all machined design is off to the machine shop.

But besides the shell not quite being one piece, I like it more. The electronics installation will be much easier.

If it turns out....The main body and buttons will be hard coat anodized 7075 aluminum, the bottom section and battery plug will be stainless (anti tip low cg and heft ), the top 510 is a Zenisis Z2 adapter (but I think some hybrid attys are in store).

Back to waiting and hoping!

Is this one using an 18650 battery??? this would be nice for me with a removable 18650 without a charging device to it, just change the battery when done!!
