If anyone has time, I just want to confirm how to wire this.

I have the feeder needle running directly through one switch terminal so that connects is done.

what are the rest of connection?

Thanks for any suggestions.

You need a wire going from the negative terminal of the battery to the hole in the ring at the top of the thing.. I mean I see a little hole made for the connection at the top of the 510 connector in the picture.

You need a wire going from the positive of the battery to the switch.

- I'm assuming the feed tube from the bottle connects to the switch, and connects to the positive pin on the 510 connect.
- I don't know why the switch has 2 screw posts but I'm assuming they are the same electrically.

If it's a metal box then you can use only the 1 wire for the positive, and the negatives could all connect to the metal of the box.

As edyle have suggested, if you are using a metal box, you can connect the black from the battery holder to the box.

BTW, ohms law.... 3.7v battery at 1.2ohm = 3 Amp
So check your switch rating is at least 5 amp using 1.2ohm coil.

Safer to use 4.2V when determining current load.

Do you have a link to a good looking switch, a vandal proof domed button with a 5 amp rating?

Thanks.

I am crafting a wood box so I assume the following.

1. The unused switch terminal goes to the positive battery side.
2. The 510 negative connec goes to the negative side of the battery sled.

I was not sure if I also needed to go from the feeder needle to the positive battery side of the sled.

1:
As I said, I assume the 2nd terminal is electrically the same as the 1st; you can verify using an meter; ohms should be 0 between the 2 points.

The switch connects the positive from the battery to the feed tube.

2:
Yes the 510 negative connector - the little hole at the top, goes to the negative side of the battery sled.

I ohm'd out the switch and yes, it reads 0. All good. Thank you.

edyle, do you use stranded wire for mod connections? Just curious.

I haven't made anything like that, but I'd use stranded wire, but preferably metal plates where convenient inside the box.
