Wismec 2/3 check battery problem.

So my 2/3 was working fine, batteries were low and I was heading out of town. Change the batteries and now it shows check batteries every set I try. Every other function works fine, tried 3 different sets of batteries and it always shows check battery. Bad contact? Some solder finally give way? Got 6 months of around the house use. Use it in 2 battery mode, always have. Ugh.

How is the tape looking on the back of the two battery lid?

Tape is fine.
After a quick search of youtube, it seems to be a known problem. I guess I need to take it apart and re-solder a wire back.

Disassemble the mod and resolder the wires to the battery sled, it's a known problem with RX's.
